For quick and easy access to the park, the metro remains the best solution!

Parc Jean-Drapeau is part of the Trans Canada Trail and the Route verte and is one of the few places where you can cross the Saint Lawrence River on your bike.

From Montréal: take the Lachine Canal bike path, near the Vieux-Port de Montréal, or the Jacques Cartier Bridge cycling path.

From the South Shore: take the South Shore Bike Link, between Saint-Lambert and Parc Jean-Drapeau, or the Jacques Cartier Bridge cycling path.

If you are coming by car, you can reach the Park using:Jacques-Cartier BridgeConcorde Bridge (Bonaventure Expressway, Pierre-Dupuy exit)

PARKING: Cars parked at Parc Jean-Drapeau must pay the parking fees. You can purchase a parking pass for $ 25 when picking up your participant’s kit the week before the event. We sell parking passes for the sole purpose of speeding up access to Parc Jean- Drapeau. It is also possible to pay for parking on site at the same price. Please note that the purchase of a parking pass does not guarantee you a parking space near the start and the transition zone. Parking spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis. When the parking next to the transition zone is full, cars will be redirected towards other parking lots on Notre-Dame island (ie. P1 next to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve hairpin). You will need to plan approximately 10 minutes of walking time to reach the transition zone. Make sure you follow the signs that lead to the transition zone and Athletes’ Quarters. Lost or forgotten parking passes cannot be replaced.

Map of Transition Area

To make your race more enjoyable, spend a few minutes during registration looking over the transition area. Note the swim start/return, the bike start/return, the run start/return and the swimmers’ bridge. Know where you have to go, location of the toilets, hot showers in the Athletes’ Quarters, changing tent, water bottle fill-up-station and anything else you may think of that will help you on race day. Body Marking is located beside the big white tent. You can pick up your timing chip as you enter the swim zone.
